A good day shopping is equally proportionate to the way one feels for the rest of the day.
If I find jeans that fit well after having to look for not so long, my backside doesn't look all that huge! Or, if I find a dress that looks good, my legs just seem shapelier for the rest of the day. Or a top that fits well makes me feel like I have shapely arms and a Cleopatra neck!
I wonder if the clothes companies know that kind of power they have. To change the way a person perceives herself, even for a day, is truly a power that comes with great responsibility. In todays day and age when no body type is perfect, the not to thin do not have the slightest of chance of being able to be comfortable in the way they look. If your family doesn't say anything, the media will. The advertisements in the newspaper and magazines, the hoardings all over the city. If one manages to ignore that then a look from someone walking the street definitely will!
In the midst of all this, to be able to walk into a store and actually find something that fits you, doesn't make you look like a bloated balloon and doesn't look like something a grandmother would wear gives a person a sense of confidence that no words or any amount love and affection could give.
